Intellectual Property

Wikipedia is more comprehensive and accurate than a commercially made encyclopedia.

A world-wide collaboration is of more use to us all than a financially-motivated secret agenda.

Unfortunately. intellectual property laws restrict communication of certain ideas.

It is unfortunate that stories, music and machines known to government institutions are basically illegal... unless you have the license (LIE SENSE)

I mean, it's like, come on.

There are exceptions. US copyright law "fair use":
A Fair(y) Use Tale

“As the United States economy becomes increasingly knowledge-based, the concept of fair use can no longer be discussed and legislated in the abstract. It is the very foundation of the digital age and a cornerstone of our economy. Much of the unprecedented economic growth of the past ten years can actually be credited to the doctrine of fair use, as the Internet itself depends on the ability to use content in a limited and nonlicensed manner."
Ed Black, President and CEO of CCIA. Computer & Communication Industry Association is an advocacy organization based in Washington, D.C. which represents companies like Google.
